Wenja Events - these are ambient events that occur randomly as you wander the area. These are not particularly necessary for an achievement run-through, although the very first mission, "Spirit Totem", is used in the story walkthrough of this guide to get you two distance-kill achievements. Village Missions - these are question marks in the village, leading to unique short missions across Oros. "Destroy" missions require you to fill a yellow gauge on the screen by burning flammable objects within an encampment. There's an XP bonus for doing this without being seen by any enemies. Two types of Tribal Clashes: "Kill" requires you to take down one or two Leader enemies in an encampment and loot their bodies. This final type is a Claw print on the map rather than a hand print. The final type is the "Beast Kill", where you have to kill a set number of a certain animal in a zone, often a great chance to tame or skin a rare beast. "Search and Rescue" has you investigating and tracking down a missing Wenja - there are no skill points attached to these so you can mostly ignore them. "Escort" has you taking four Wenja across the map to a new home and protecting them from danger. There are four flavours of Help Wenja quests: "Save Captive" will have you untying four captives (or killing all of their captors) - two must survive.

Completing them will net you the Snowblood Wolf, Bloodfang Sabertooth and Great Scar Bear (the Bloodtusk Mammoth can only be killed, not tamed) These four missions take place in the four corners of the map and involve tracking a legendary beast over a large area.
